Our DI adventures...

Josh and I decided one Saturday that we would go take a tour around the Salt Lake Valley and go hunting for good finds at the DI. Hey, who doesn't like a good deal right?!? :) We went with an Ice Cream Maker in mind, which I just KNEW we WOULD NOT find. Josh's Mom found two last summer at the West Valley DI and we wanted one too! We started at the West Valley DI and there was no luck with the ice cream maker, BUT we did find some home decor....$3 later and we got 2 new items (and yes, one was brand new!) I will post pics soon. I didn't have them on my camera this go around. (aren't u dying to see our finds now...the suspense is killing you!?!) Our next stop was the West Jordan DI. Josh was a good hunter. I was just casually looking, but nothing stood out to me. But mr. Josh had good eyes and spotted the beauty, first the motor and then the bucket an ice cream maker. I was proved wrong that day. I guess if you go with a goal in mind you might just find what you are looking for, or maybe it was just luck. ha. No matter what the case was...$7 dollars later we got what we went looking for and made some mighty delicious rocky road ice cream the next day. Many more wonderful batches of homemade ice cream will be made in times to come! :) Thank you DI. (and the person who donated it.......to us!)
