Another year old and possibly wiser too....

*Sad, I just found this post, it was just chilling as a draft...never posted. Maybe I was waiting for pictures. I think Josh had them on his phone or something. Now it's June and this post is SO outdated..but I'm going to post it anyway, over a month later.

Can you believe it...another year has passed and we are getting old. I love birthdays...I think they are fun. Josh on the other hand just thinks of it as just another day. I'm changing that or atleast hope to. Ha.
He definitely made my birthday special this year despite the fact that I had to sit in class the whole day and learn about wounds (which was interesting) and then go to a relief society activity and learn about cleaning tricks and techniques (which was interesting too). I'm not complaining it was a fabulous and interesting day. Josh got me some flowers and is letting me spend a little mula on myself (which really is one of THE best presents ever!). He even got me a birthday cake and ice cream. Not just any ice cream, but HALF BAKED Ben and Jerry's ice cream..LOVE! Josh's mom got some hookups with some Popeyes chicken (thanks Kate!) and brought it to us...LOVE that too! My parents took us out for birthday dinner the weekend before to Joy Luck, a chinese place.. I really enjoyed it. I love spending time with family. I feel like alot of my birthday stuff has to do with food... it's amazing what food can do..cheer me up! I love food and that is a problem.
Today is Josh's birthday. I hope he's had a good day. I've tried to make it special. He is special. Well, not that kind of "special". But special in my life...he is everything to me and I love to try and make him feel that way and spoil him every once and a while. We had a nice dinner, grilled steak, pineapple, baked potatoes and our version of Cafe Rio salad. We finally set up our patio table and took out some camping chairs, ate outside and relaxed. It's been a pretty good day!
Sometimes I think birthdays remind you to take a little time for yourself or eachother in our case. Especially since we are only 3 days a part. I think it was meant to be!
Happy Birthday Joshua Patrick! I hope you've had a fabulous day! I love you!
