Kev's farewell and Meg's Mission Call

My little bro Kevin entered the MTC the day after my birthday. I was able to spend a little time with him the morning that he left. I wasn't able to go to the MTC to drop him off because of time conflicts with work, but atleast I was able to see him in the morning. He will be in the MTC until the beginning of July since he is learning the Japanese language. He will then be headed to Kobe, Japan. He is finding the MTC experience to be pretty hard, especially with learning the language. But he definitely can accomplish it...he's already accomplished 4 weeks! We miss him a ton, but we are grateful that he decided to serve the lord and share the thing that has made our family so happy...the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

My sister Megan was also waiting for her mission call and it was suppose to arrive the same day my little brother was entering the MTC. We were praying and hoping that it would come before he had to leave so he could share in the excitement of her opening it and finding out where she was going. Well as we were saying our goodbyes...the mailman showed up. We were so excited. Needless to say, Megan opened it and she was SHOCKED. She got called to Korea. I don't know how to spell the city..it's like Dejeong or something like that. I don't even know if anyone guessed foreign cause she is one of the pickiest eaters we know and I think everyone just assumed she'd be safer in the states...ha. Heavenly Father has different plans for her! We are definitely excited for her and her new adventures!
