Another year older and wiser too....

Josh made my birthday pretty special this year. It fell kinda on a random day...a Tuesday. I ended up taking the night off of work (last year was horrible working on my birthday) but I didn't take it off just for fun, it was also the night that my brother Kevin was being set apart as a missionary. Since that was happening....we had a bbq at my parents house (and yes, I ate 3 bbq'd hot dogs...my fav!) and then Josh surprised me with a birthday cake. (which my nephew LOVED..) I wasn't expecting much to be honest since there was so much going on, but he definitely surprised me. He also sent me some pretty flowers which were delivered to the house earlier in the day and shocked the heck out of me. ;)
Later that night my bro was set apart as a missionary and began his adventure as a servant of the Lord.
Josh's birthday was a few days later. Sadly we didn't take any pictures that day. But we had a hawaiian themed night...we went to L&L Hawaiian BBQ for dinner and then we went to this little Hawaiian Ice cream shop that we found at the end of last summer and really liked. It wasn't anything extravagant, but definitely fun and good enough for us! :) atleast for me...hopefully for him too. If my memory serves me correctly I believe that was the same night that we ended up coloring eggs with my little sis at my parents house. That was fun too!
So we are both another year older and we are hoping for alot of fun memories and adventures throughout this next year!
