Last weekend Josh, Josh's pops, and I were able to go watch a family friend, Jordan Lucero, compete on the luge! I must say it was pretty neat to watch her and all the competitors fly by on the little sleds at about 67 to 74 miles per hour if not more! All of us were amazed that anyone in their right mind would get on that little piece of metal and go down that icy track....and then end up going that fast! I know I couldn't do it! But I'm glad she's gutsy enough to do it!!
Josh said one of the coolest parts for him was to actually see her name up on the board with USA next to it! I'm pretty sure we'll see it again someday when she's in the Olympic Games!
Jordan did awesome and we were grateful we were able to go watch her! Here are a few pics to remember our experience! I couldn't take any of her actually going by....she was going way to fast! But enjoy the others!
