So many things have happened since I TRULY updated this blog....so we'll just update with random pictures...and trust me when I say random....
December (yes, December 2011) My Aunt Carolyn came and spent some time with us for Christmas. It was the first time we've ever had family here for Christmas. It was truly fun. We love spending time with her. While she was here we went downtown and saw the Christmas lights at Temple Square. It was cold, but most likely FREEZING for my poor aunt who came from sunny San Diego!
One night at Sunday dinner we decided to take some pictures to send in an email to my sister Megan who is on her mission in Korea. We took them and sent them that night knowing she would be on the computer checking email around the same time we were having dinner!
Valentine's Day came and went so fast this year. I ended up having to work on Valentine's day night. I had to go to school in the morning so I had to work the night shift so it was a no go for dinner with my Valentine. Josh still surprised me with some beautiful flowers from Hawaii. The next night I tried to plan a nice surprise "picnic style" katsu dinner in our living room, but for some odd reason Josh ended up coming home early...like the first time ever...go figure right and walked in as I was still cooking. Oh well, it still ended up being a nice night. I love Valentine's Day.
We had a trip to Tai Pan Trading..oh how I love that store! We ended up buying this......a giant candy jar. It was a steal of a deal. I've always wanted a big candy jar. I don't know why. But I finally have one. Don't mind it not having much candy in it....we've had a stressful week. ha ha.
I had a coworker introduce me to a website called the perfect chocolate chip cookie. I finally had some time to make them. They are really my perfect chocolate chip cookie. I absolutely LOVE them! I've eaten quite a few. I might have to limit myself to how many I make or make sure they are given away so I don't gain all the cookie weight! :)
I finally had a moment in my life to do a craft. I made this fun wreath. I made it to match our UofU doormat, but didn't think about it having to be in front of a green door. Oh well, I like it anyway! I think it turned out cute.
We've had a few spring teaser days of weather with it being up in the 60's. This weekend it's suppose to snow again. Bummer. I sure can't wait for it to be warm and we can play outside. I want to go hiking in the mountains and on the cool trails we have yet to explore around our house. I want to go play catch at the park, run, run, run, and go to some baseball games. It also means it's the start of camping!!!!! I love when the trees begin to bud, the flowers start to come up and bloom and when the earth seems to liven up again! I love Spring! My fav!
I definitely have SPRING FEVER!!!!!!!!
