More baking adventures

Tonight while waiting for the hubby to come home from work I saw some VERY ripe bananas sitting on my kitchen counter. So to pass away some of the time I made these.....

They are Crunch Banana muffins. It's been interesting trying to find recipes that I don't have to go to the store for any of the ingredients. I found quite a few recipes for regular banana bread or cookies, but I didn't have one or two ingredients. One of the joys of starting to build your own kitchen. My mom and mother in law seemed like they had everything! ha ha. Now I must build my own stock of stuff. Anyways, this recipe was perfect....I had all the ingredients and they turned out SO yummy! I guess I could say while cooking dinner...I had an appetizer! :) I've been on a baking/cooking kick lately. I also made these the other day...

White chocolate chip, macadamia nut, craisin cookies. Quite the combo! They were really good. It's not like we eat them all ....we share. I make Josh take them to work and what not. So maybe if your in the neighborhood.....stop by come grab a treat! :) Trust me I'm not trying to brag with all the cooking, like "look at me, I'm a chef/baker". But in reality, it's me being surprised that something yummy can and does come out of my oven that I had to share! ha ha.
