This last weekend Josh's fam and the Lucero family went camping up at Echo Resevoir, we were suppose to go up with them, but because of other circumstances we weren't able to go up the whole time. Saturday morning we met everyone up at the campsite just in time for breakfast and then we were able to spend the day up there. It was alot fun! We went over to Echo Resevoir and the Lucero's brought their canoe! The water was pretty low and there was TONS of mud! Needless to say...I stayed away...didn't feel like getting muddy! :) But everyone else decided to play and it was hilarious for me to see everyone getting their sandles stuck in the mud and then trying to clean themselves off, rock paths up from the water ended up being the life saver! Reiko and Nate decided to take the canoe out and they ended up crossing the whole lake, with Tank even! What troopers! There is no way I could've done that.....the wind was crazy....and I have no arm muscle!! ha ha. So way to go guys! It was a really fun day and I have a lovely sunburn to remind me of it! Sunglasses look like they are still on and my forehead couldn't get any redder! I wish I would've taken a picture, it was quite a site! Trust me, everyone at work got a good laugh at it!
That night after me and Josh got home we made some treats! Oreo balls, Nutter butter balls and chocolate covered strawberries! I love spending time with him doing things like that! Heavenly!!! (him and the chocolate!! :)
I'm looking foward to labor day weekend when we get to take the boat out for the first time this summer!! I had a goal of mastering the wakeboard....we'll see how well it goes...I should've started doing push-ups and arm muscle building exercises!! :) Wish me luck!
